If you Play the blues, if you feel the blues, if you love the blues, then you know what it is to get “down and dirty”, or doin’ the “Chicago Roll” on the dance floor, and if you are a good musician, and you can slide into the groove, in the old blues jam tradition; you are a part of the “Blues Society”.
Andy Koch (pronounced “cook”) moved to Bellingham from Seattle in the fall of 1973 to attend Fairhaven College. It was meant to be a temporary move.
His motto now, he says, is “old enough to know better; too late to stop now.”
